Aditi Sen is the founder of U4E/K4E. When her children were young, she began looking for a way to connect them and their friends to the natural world around them -- to introduce them to the importance of understanding and protecting the environment. Monthly meetings included starting a local community garden, to programs on how tides work and how to build a solar oven. Beginning with this group of neighborhood children, Kids for Earth grew to include multiple chapters throughout the United States. Joining Aditi in this journey are her friends Kathy and Colin, along with the invaluable assistance of landscape designer Tracy Hanson, the Hillsdale Free Public Library, and many others along the way.
